• Help your student Scratch their way to the top of middle school programmers!

Participants design and code their own cooperative video game – no previous coding experience required.

Students in grades 6-8 explore the world of coding with Scratch. Scratch is a programing language used to create interactive stories, games and animations. Participants join excellent instructors in our specialized campus computer labs to let their creations come to life, while discovering the fundamentals of technology, developing digital literacy skills and exploring hands-on learning in a creative, student-driven and social club environment on Western’s campus.

Youth program participants and staff must abide by all University regulations and program rules.

The program meets weekly on Saturdays for eight weeks. It begins on Saturday, October 5, 2019 and ends on Saturday, November 23, 2019.
